National Oral Health Programme (NOHP)

Healthy Smiles. Healthier Lives.

The National Oral Health Programme (NOHP) was launched to address the growing burden of Oral diseases and ensure equitable access to integrated, comprehensive, and affordable Oral healthcare through the existing public health system.

The programme supports the State in strengthening dental services by establishing fully functional Dental units at health facilities below the district level through the National Health Mission (NHM) Programme Implementation Plans (PIPs). These units are equipped with trained Dental professionals, Essential Dental equipment, Dental chairs, and consumables to deliver quality Oral healthcare services.
