This initiative marked the expansion of the Tamil Nadu Heart Attack Management Programme to the primary healthcare level.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h3>Emergency Cardiac Drug Kit<\/h3>\n\n    <div class=\"program-block\">\n        Emergency cardiac loading dose drug kits have been supplied to all Health Sub-Centres and Health &amp; Wellness Centres across Tamil Nadu. These kits enable healthcare providers to initiate life-saving treatment immediately when symptoms of a heart attack are identified.\n\n        <ul>\n            <li><strong>Aspirin<\/strong> \u2013 300 mg<\/li>\n            <li><strong>Clopidogrel<\/strong> \u2013 300 mg<\/li>\n            <li><strong>Atorvastatin<\/strong> \u2013 80 mg<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <h3>Implementation Coverage<\/h3>\n\n    <div class=\"stat-grid\">\n        <div class=\"stat-card\">\n            <strong>9,421<\/strong><br>\n            Health Sub-Centres &amp; Health &amp; Wellness Centres Covered\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <h3>Referral and Treatment Pathway<\/h3>\n\n    <div class=\"program-block\">\n        When a patient presents with symptoms suggestive of a heart attack, the <strong>Mid-Level Health Care Provider (MLHP)<\/strong> at the Health Sub-Centre conducts the initial assessment and administers the emergency cardiac loading dose medication.\n\n        <br><br>\n\n        Following stabilization, the patient is immediately referred through an <strong>Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance<\/strong> to the nearest definitive cardiac care centre for specialized evaluation and treatment.\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Home Idhayam Kappom Thittam Idhayam Kappom Thittam is a statewide heart attack management initiative aimed at providing early emergency cardiac care at the primary healthcare level and ensuring timely referral to advanced cardiac care centres.
