Mission<\/h1>\nState Rural Health Mission was launched in Tamil Nadu on\n<strong>12 April 2005<\/strong> to strengthen the public health\nsystem and improve healthcare delivery across the State under\nthe National Rural Health Mission.\nState Rural Health Mission was launched in Tamilnadu on 12.4.05 with the view to bring architectural correction of the health system to enable it to effectively handle increased allocations and promote policies that strengthen public health management and service delivery as prescribed under the NRHM of India. The programme is for the period of 2005-2012. The programme is funded by Government of India.\n\n<\/div>\n<!-- STATE HEALTH -->\n\n<section>\n<h2 class=\"section-title\">State Health Mission<\/h2>\n<div class=\"content-card\">\n\nTamil Nadu State Health Mission was constituted to implement\nthe National Rural Health Mission effectively.
